Twice Cooked Pork Belly

Pork belly basted in Continental’s honey and BBQ base, baked with star anise until crispy golden, then grilled and served with rice and stir fried vegetables. Soft, sweet and savoury all at the same time; this dish is twice cooked but triply delicious .

  • 1 Preheat oven to 190°C. Place pork and star anise in the roasting bag, add the Recipe Base and close the bag using tie provided. Gently rotate until pork is coated evenly.
  • 2 Place on a baking tray, pierce top of bag and cook for 50 minutes until pork is cooked.
  • 3 Remove pork from bag and slice. Place on a tray and grill or barbecue until crisp and golden.
  • 4 Serve with rice and stir-fried vegetables.
