How to use

Just add…
2 teaspoons oil
500g lean minced beef
1 pack Continental Recipe Base
1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes
1 x 400g can red kidney beans, drained
¼ cup (60mL) water

Simply…
  1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan or frying pan and brown mince.
  2. Add Recipe Base, tomatoes, beans and water; stir to combine.
  3. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until mince is cooked, stirring occasionally.
Serve with rice, light sour cream, diced tomato and avocado.

Here’s an idea…Fill a baked jacket potato with Chilli Con Carne, top with grated cheese and serve with a tossed salad.
