    Serves

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 x 46 g sachet Continental Takeout Temptations Korean BBQ Seasoning Mix
  • 2/3 cup Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup kimchi, liquid drained and reserved
  • 4 middle bacon rashers
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 4 oakleaf lettuce leaves, or butter lettuce leaves, trimmed
  • Purple sweet potato crisps, to serve

  1. In a large bowl, combine beef mince and seasoning mix with your hands until fully combined. Shape into four patties approx. 10 cm in diameter. Make an indent in the centre with your thumb (this helps to prevent them shrinking during cooking). Place onto a large plate or tray, cover and refrigerate for 15 mins.

  2. Meanwhile combine mayonnaise with 3 tsp kimchi juice in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Heat 2 tsp oil a large non-stick frying pan over medium high heat. Pan-fry the bacon for 2-3 mins, each side or until golden and crisp. Transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towel. Cover to keep warm.

  4. Spread mayonnaise mixture over the inside of bun bases and tops. Top bun bases with lettuce, beef patty, kimchi, bacon and bun tops. Serve with crisps.
