    Serves

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 x 31 gram sachet Continental Takeout Temptations Chicken Kebab Seasoning Mix
  • 1 cup Greek-style natural yoghurt
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 Lebanese bread rounds, flatbreads or wraps
  • 2 cups mixed lettuce leaves
  • 250 g grape tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 large Lebanese cucumber, quartered lengthways, thickly sliced

  1. In a large bowl combine mince & seasoning mix. Mix thoroughly by hand and shape into eight 9cm long logs, and set on a baking tray. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 mins, or until cold.

  2. Combine yoghurt and garlic in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan, or flat barbecue plate, over medium-high heat. Cook kofta for 8 mins, turning regularly, or until browned and cooked through.

  4. Spread some of the garlic yoghurt over the bread rounds. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and kofta. Drizzle with a remaining yoghurt mixture. Wrap up to enclose, serve.

  5. Swap beef mince for lamb, pork or turkey mince.
