  • 500 g lean lamb or beef mince
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Continental Stock Pot Sensations Beef Stock Pot
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • 16 wooden or metal skewers
  • 8 wholemeal pita breads
  • ¼ cup tzatziki
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers, sliced
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped

  1. In a large bowl combine mince, onion, Stock Pot, egg, parsley, cumin and lemon rind. Mix well and form the meat around 16 skewers.

  2. Preheat barbecue or grill pan and cook skewers for 10-15 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  3. Serve skewers with warm pita bread drizzled with tzatziki and a salad of sliced cucumber and tomatoes
