Steak Sandwiches with Balsamic Onions

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 4 x minute steaks
  • 1 Continental Stock Pot Sensations Beef Stock Pot
  • 8 slices crusty bread, lightly toasted
  • 100 g lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ cup tomato chutney

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan and brown onions. Add sugar and balsamic vinegar and cook for a further 2 minutes until slightly caramelised.

  2. Spread each steak with Stock Pot and barbecue or grill.

  3. Place lettuce and tomato onto toasted bread, top with steak, onions and tomato chutney.
