  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 500 g pork mince
  • 200 g button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 3 green spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 packet Continental Recipe Base Chow Mein Mince
  • 1 teaspoon salt reduced soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce, trimmed leaves separated
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, to garnish

  1. Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add mince and cook, stirring, until browned.

  2. Stir in Recipe Base, mushrooms, cabbage, water and soy sauce until combined. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until mince is cooked and sauce has thickened.

  3. Spoon warm mince mixture into individual lettuce cups. Top with bean sprouts and coriander and serve immediately.
