    Serves

  • 275 g packet gow gee wrappers
  • 500 g pork mince or chicken mince
  • 1 sachet Continental Recipe Base Chow Mein Mince
  • 225 g canned water chestnuts
  • 3 green spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce or dumpling sauce, to serve
  • 200 g steamed snow peas, to serve

  1. Combine mince, recipe base mix, water chestnuts and spring onions in a bowl. Place 4 gow gee wrappers onto a board. Place 1 heaped tbsp filling into center of each wrapper. Brush edges of pastry with water. Top with another wrapper. Flatten slightly then pinch edges to seal.

  2. Preheat Sunbeam Pie Magic® pie maker (or other 4 hole ( ½ cup capacity) pie maker).

  3. Spray hole cavity with oil. Place 4 dumplings into pie maker. Spray top of dumpling with oil. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Use a silicon spatula and flip dumplings over. Close lid and cook for a further 4-5 minutes or until wrappers until wrappers are lightly golden brown and filing is cooked through. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. Serve with dumpling sauce or soy sauce garnished with spring onions, for dipping.
