  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 500 g pork mince, or chicken or beef mince
  • 100 g fresh shiitake mushrooms or button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 packet Continental Recipe Base Chow Mein Mince
  • 225 g can sliced water chestnuts
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon salt reduced soy sauce
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce, trimmed, leaves separated
  • chilli sauce or sriracha sauce, to serve

Lettuce Wrap
  1. Heat oil in a large wok or non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add mince and stir-fry for 5 minutes or until browned. Add mushrooms and stir-fry for 3 - 4 minutes until softened.

  2. Add Continental Recipe Base, water chestnuts, spring onions and soy sauce and stir-fry for 2 minutes until heated through.

  3. Divide mince mixture among lettuce cups. Sprinkle with extra sliced spring onions and serve with chilli sauce, if desired.
